Boulder Bach Festival: Concertos and Chorales Contextualized

Featuring three choirs, solo organ, and two strings ensembles, this antiphonal presentation travels through three centuries of chorale settings, contrasting these profound works with two of Bach’s most adored instrumental works: the Concerto for Two Violins and the Brandenburg Concerto No. 6.

New York-based Maureen Murchie and Tal McGee join Colorado's Aniel Cabán and Boulder Bach Festival Director Zachary Carrettin as concerto soloists. Murchie and Carrettin double on Cellos da Spalla, and Christopher Holman (Bach Society Houston) performs as organ soloist.
